Before the Wish...Bricks and Spaaace!

We're off to Orlando for our first voyage aboard the Disney Wish! Well, first we arrive in Orlando and then attend a LEGO/Brick convention nearby. Then the next day we head to the Kennedy Space Center and Titusville, our overnight stop before getting on the Disney Wish at Port Canaveral the following day. Somehow this is our 3rd trip to the Space Center in the last 11 months! The link to our other KSC vides is below.

Next stop...the Disney Wish! Enjoy!

LEGO Chronicles 2: Y-Wing Starfighter

Why do the LEGO Chronicles start with #2? Because technically, Steamboat Willie was Chronicles 1. I just didn’t know it at the time. Then, with the Star Wars Y-Wing set in September, 2019, the floodgates had opened (as will soon be evident).

When I picked this set up, I was actually looking at the Disneyland Railroad set that had just been released, But I balked at the $350 price tag on that set. Somehow, this sub-$200 set was more palatable. Plus it had some really nice detail and presentation (including a stand). The set is just a shade under 2000 pieces. For fans of the original Star Wars trilogy, there’s a lot to like in this set. More details? Maybe in future posts on future sets. On to photos!

Completed that LEGO Steamboat Willie

I guess if you can follow directions, it’s not really that hard. It came out really cool, but I didn’t need another hobby. Right?

Steamboat Willie, LEGO edition

Considering the only sets I’ve built in the last 5 years have been mini-sets, I just may have bit off more than I can chew. Let’s see.
