Disconnected Scenes from Walt Disney World, June 2023!

It's time for another short video of disconnected scenes from WDW - The Magic Kingdom and Epoct - on June 3 and 4, 2023. Some friends invited us out to celebrate Gay Days at WDW so we headed east to join them to celebrate. We hadn't been to WDW since January 2022, so we were able to experience Tron and Cosmic Rewind for the first time. Saturday was Magic Kingdom and Sunday was Epcot for drinking around the world and the end of Flower & Garden Festival. Not included: Friday at Typhoon Lagoon and our Saturday evening monorail crawl. This was a blast, so much that I hardly filmed. As for what I did capture, please...enjoy!

Cedar Point Trip Report - June 2023

Well well well...we found ourselves in the northern Ohio area in early June 2023 because I wanted to see The Cure play outside of SoCal. The results of that are a video for another day. But since we planned to be in the Cleveland area, we naturally decided to spend some time and use our Cedar Fair pass at America's Roller Coast, Cedar Point. I experimented with only doing 1 lap of filming at the end of our trip and I didn't like it as much as filming as we went. But otherwise I think there's some interesting stuff here. Still working on how to best use this new camera so some of the audio isn't great, but stay for the visuals. Enjoy the coasters!

Visiting California's Great America - June 2023!

In the early 2000s, this was our home park. Then we moved away in 2005 and haven't been back since. Well, with the rumors that owner Cedar Fair is looking to close down Great America in the next few years, we decided to put our CF passes to use and head up to Santa Clara for the weekend. And as a warm-up for our pending late summer trip, my sister decided to join us. We picked up 3 new credits and finally got to enjoy Gold Striker and Railblazer. It was a fun, nostalgic weekend. Check out a handful of coasters with us, along with a dash of non-coaster rides, and enjoy this book report!

Knott's Berry Farm & more! Coasters, new Fiesta Village, nearly visited a bakery, & shopping at DCA.

After a whirlwind April, and before an expected exhausting June, we kinda took May off. But since it we had the long Memorial Day weekend to look forward to, a quick overnighter to visit some local theme parks seemed like a good idea. We started off with a few coaster rides at Knott's before taking a walk around the park to see the new Fiesta Village and stopping by the saloon. Our next stop was to be lunch at Porto's, which did not go as planned. Then we wrapped up with some shopping at Disney California Adventure and an evening at Trader Sam's (not captured on video). A quick shout out to the viewer(s) that said hi at the Westin - thanks for watching and sorry for being confused at first! Enjoy!

Porto's Bakery

Knott's Berry Farm, Easter 2023. A walk around the park and a few Boysenberry Festival treats.

After almost a year between visits, we made it back to Knott's Berry Farm on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. Mostly we took the opportunity to walk around the park on a beautiful morning wearing our Sunday best. We did ride a couple of attractions and dabbled in this year's Boysenberry Festival offerings. The festival is almost over at this point, so I don't know if I'd make any specific recommendations. We also ran into a couple of friends from the tiki community that we hadn't seen in a few years (not pictured) which was an unexpected treat. Oh and there's an overview of the Boysenberry Festival art exhibit. Casual trip - come check out Knott's with us and...Enjoy!
